I do a lot of paper crafting & creative projects at home. I like to wash out my aluminum pans/cups and reuse them to store beads, rhinestones, and embellishments. This way I don’t have to spend money on those pricey storage bins. It works great!

Everyone knows that we should always recycle to be more green, but what about reusing the product. If we really think about it, there are a lot of different ways you can reuse jars, coffee cans, plastic bags, and even foil pans.
• Broken candles and pie pans – Melt them down in the old pie pans to make new candles. Add broken crayons for color.
• Newspaper and junk mail. Shred it and reuse in place of peanuts when mailing packages
• Donate your plastic bags to non profit organizations to help meals on wheels deliver food to the elderly and shut ins
• Schools and daycares are happy to use jars, pans, and milk cartons for crafts and fundraisers.
Are you green? Love to hear how you can help your community, please share your ideas. Thanks Sue.

For the past year a co-worker and I have been carpooling since we live within a mile of each other. This helps us to save money on gas and car maintenance.
Also my office prints smarter. We reuse or recycle printed paper. Even our shredded papers get recycled.
